Matching Gift Opportunity for New Karl and Zita Windows at Christendom College

On April 15, 2023, Christendom College’s new Christ the King Chapel was dedicated by Bishop Michael Burbidge in Front Royal, VA. Among the artistic plans for the chapel are 100 stained glass windows executed in the Munich picture style. 30 are presently installed with 70 more currently in various stages of production.

Among the plans for the clerestory windows are two featuring Blessed Karl of Austria and his wife Servant of God Zita. Recently a generous donor has pledged $50K toward the $100K total and is currently seeking donors to match his gift and bring the project to completion.
