Gebetsliga Webmaster Featured on Rome Reports
Jordan Hainsey, Webmaster and Designer for the Emperor Karl League of Prayer U.S.A. and Canada, was recently featured on ROME REPORTS for his saints and blesseds fine art photography series and his work with the Gebetsliga. Hainsey’s working portrait series celebrates the known, and little-known, men and women of faith, reinvisioned through christian believers of today. His newest work, The Coptic Martyrs of Libya, won an Honorable Mention in the 2018 international Juried Catholic Arts Exhibition at The Saint Vincent Gallery, Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
Hainsey holds a B.A. in Graphic Design from Saint Vincent College. From 2011-2015 he served as Assistant to the Archabbot and Public Relations Associate for Saint Vincent Archabbey and Seminary. At Saint Vincent, Hainsey worked closely as a curatorial assistant to Br. Nathan Cochran, O.S.B., The Saint Vincent Gallery Curator and Director, who served as the Kaiser Karl Gebetsliga Delegate to the U.S.A. and Canada from 2003-2014. In 2017, he earned a Bachelor of Philosophy from the Pontifical College Josephinum. Hainsey is a seminarian for the Diocese of Covington, Kentucky.
Hainsey is responsible for design, maintenance, site content, and development of holy reminders available in the online store of EmperorCharles.org. In 2015, he undertook the migration of the old Gebetsliga website founded by Br. Nathan Cochran, O.S.B., to a newly designed, user friendly platform that integrates a secure online store and donation processing system. Among the many products in the online store, Hainsey redesigned Blessed Karl of Austria: A Novena, Blessed Karl of Austria: A Short Biography, and Death of an Emperor to meet the growing demand for printed materials on Blessed Karl's life. In 2017, he oversaw the design and creation of a devotional Emperor Karl bust statue—the first mass-produced statue of Karl to be created since World War I.
