Vatican Recalls 20th Anniversary of Karl’s Beatification

October 3, 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the beatification of Emperor Karl. In this regard, I would like to take this opportunity to convey my best wishes to you and the members of the Emperor Karl Prayer League of Peace of Peoples. May our intercessions of Blessed Emperor Karl, whose tomb in Funchal on the island of Madeira, in the Church of Nossa Senhora do Monte, that is well known to me and has always been met with deep devotion, continue to make the Catholic faith shine in these troubled times and be its foundation for peace, hope, and confidence.
